Tokens let Tshelo offer the same features at the same price across Africa, regardless of local currency. A fund costs the same in tokens whether you're in Botswana, Kenya, or South Africa — only the local price of a token pack varies by market.

What tokens buy you.

Features cost a fixed number of tokens regardless of country. The Pula equivalent below uses the Starter Pack rate of P0.50 per token — buy a larger pack and the rate drops.

What we'll never charge for.

  • Account registration.
  • Viewing a fund as a member or contributor.
  • Sending or receiving money — that always happens through your mobile money provider, on their fees.
  • A percentage or commission on any contribution amount.
  • Raising a complaint or requesting deletion of your data.
  • Any fee that hasn't been disclosed to you, in Pula, before you tap to pay.

Refunds.

Token packs are non-refundable once tokens have been spent. Unused tokens never expire. We will refund the Pula price of a token pack where:

  • Tokens were purchased but not credited due to a technical fault.
  • A feature was activated but did not function as described.
  • A duplicate charge occurred due to a technical fault.
  • The platform is discontinued before purchased tokens were spent.

Send refund requests to tshelo@data-sentinels.com within fourteen days of the charge. We respond within five business days.

How fees are shown to you.

  • All token pack prices appear in Pula (BWP) inside the app before you commit to pay.
  • The token cost of every feature is shown before any tokens are spent.
  • No payment is taken without you tapping a confirmation button after seeing the full price.
  • Your token balance is visible on the dashboard at all times.
  • An SMS receipt is sent after every token pack purchase.
